The first lodge meeting in Victoria was held in 1839.


In 1889, the United Grand Lodge of Victoria brought together lodges that had formerly worked under the constitution of either the Grand Lodge of England, Ireland or Scotland.


Grand Lodge is Australians from all walks of life coming together to enjoy a splendid celebration of Freemasonry's tradition and future.


Freemasonry continues to be part of the social fabric of Victoria.

Provincial Grand Lodge of Scotland formed, 13 lodges meeting the date of Union.

Provincial Grand Lodge of Ireand formed, 16 lodges meeting the date of Union.

1857
Provincial Grand Lodge of England formed, 102 lodges meeting the date of Union.

1883
Grand Lodge of Victoria, 18 lodges meeting at the date of Union.

1889
United Grand Lodge of Victoria brings together lodges working under the four constitutions

1989
