The sun approaching its meridian height is allegorized in the figure of Apollo.
The Apollo project is a group of freemasons between the ages of 18 and 35 within Freemasons Victoria, who support and encourage each other by:
- visiting each other's lodges
- attending Quarterly Communications of Grand Lodge
- practising universal charity
The Apollo project is a Community Project of Freemasons Victoria

Freemasons Task Force
Volunteers from the Freemasons Task Force assisted with the replanting of the Licola Wilderness Village during April and May 2010. This charming village beside the Macalister River, 254 kilometres east of Melbourne provides accommodation and constructive activities for young people (especially school groups), special needs groups and disadvantaged children. Revegetation of the landscape follows devastating fires and floods in 2006 and 2007.
Ring pull collection
Funds raised by the collection of ring pulls from aluminium cans for recycling and reuse are contributed to Heartkids. The mission of Heartkids is to meet the needs of children with congenital heart defects. Funds raised support the advancement of cardiac research at the Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne.
This is an ongoing project co-ordinated throughout Victoria by Freemasons Victoria through the Freemasons Task Force. Collection points are at most lodge buildings or bring your ring pulls from aluminium cans to the Quarterly Communications of Grand Lodge.
